Few so so much lovely lines from his song... FIND YOURSELF
When you go through life
So sure of where you're headin'
And you wind up lost and it's
The best thing that could have happened
Cause sometimes when you loss your way it's just as well
Because you find yourself
Yeah that's when you find yourself
When you meet the one
That you've been waitin' for
And she's everything that you want and more
You look at her and you finally start to live for some one else
And then you find yourself
That's when you find yourself

(I ran through the song while watching animation movie Cars by Pixar. Song comes at the very end of the movie... It's like waiting for the pearl.. I am just in love with songs.. At times i feel, i should stop writing and just listen to all these words sweet songs, fly thorugh the emotions, be with them, hug them... but then i wake up every morning... Almighty.. huh!)

Candy Talk: Strawberry facial n pinacolada Pedicure
Ya... it's a material world. The world we know is built on three E's (mba effect):
Eagerness: Nothing explains this better than the cliched stmt, "Necessity is the mother of invention". God (yes, i feel he/she/it exists and watches us fooling arnd) gave us little brain but put one important component in it... 'inquisitiveness'. Eagerness can be in terms of anything u aspire for (without thinking will that be actually be ever yours!).
Emotions: Now when god gave us lil inquisitive brain he thought that his comic characters (we) will one day come very close to finding who he is. If that happens, the Whole 'game' ends. So to avert such possibility he put in us something we call 'emotions'. May be he wanted to group us in categories of blood group (o+,0-, A, AB+ etc) but we, with our lil inquisitive brains, ended up having categories based on superficial religion and caste. Anyways that's different discussion... It's our emotions that binds us together and keeps us at what we call 'our' planet. We fail to release ourselves. Love, hate, fun, ditches, brother, father, mother, gf/bf.. ahhh...
Expectation: Ok, so we are inquisitive lil creatures entangled with emotions. On top of this we have expectations. God thought that having mutual expectations is mandatory for our day-to-day living and keep our thinking constrained. We expect from eachother. People mostly dont keep up to our expectations. We get hurt, we cry, we repent, we go on just to again have expectations from someone else.
So in all, God has created this world for his entertainment. We poor human beings will never really get to know who we are howmuch deeper we delve into. We are a part of a play, full of eagerness, emotions and expectation.
What do we do then?
Release ourselves and realise that we are alone in this world. Live everyday to the fullest without getting indulged in whatever we do. Dont harm anyone, dont fight for that piece of land, dont have emotions and keep lil expectations. Easier said than done.. but if done, it will help us lead a peaceful life and make the drama lil boring for the almighty.. God... Go get that Strawberry facial n pinacolada Pedicure and pamper yourself... chuck de phatte!

Candy Talk : (M)oney (B)efore (A)ll
Hello dear blog n people... It was a hectic day with PPTs and talks..
This is an excerpt from talk by Mr. Anand Pillai from a reputed IT services company who was here (SPJIMR) today..
Few people easily shelved Mr. pillai's talk as general gyan. No doubt it was mostly so but given to the sea of gyan we get in classes, this one had little pearls woven in between. Ok OK.. i gotta lil problem here too.. i've turned appreciative of mostly all the things these days.. Anyways here are few good lines he used and their context..
- Age is too much a price to pay for maturity... Do it now and learn it now (reflect)
- Greed is good
- Do not answer the question; answer the objective behind the question. Answer the intention with which the question was asked.
- You do not have an option to make fool of yourself; you are a fool. You can only choose to decide when u want to make fool of yourself... (when you are in class or when u are facing a client)
- Decisions are made emotionally are justified rationally.
- Most valuable commodity is information.
We had a video case study on the movie wall street. Mr Pillai analysed the conversation between Bud fox and Gekko.. It was lil stretched but marvelous. I advise all my MBA frnds to watch it. It's a way to get out of 'rat race' as robert kiyosaki would put.

Teachers get emotional when the topic is close to their heart.. we ought to know where we should stop 'getting' from them and let them explore their fantasy land. By the time they get back we would have reflected upon what we got..

Ice Candy Boy from Bihar
Memories of my village remain fresh in my mind all the while. It's a small village in the north undivided Bihar called 'Manuan' (Manua). It takes about 3 hours road journey from Patna Airport to reach it. It's a calm though growing village situated in between Hajipur and Vaishali. You will remember Vaishali because of many old things like Buddha, Mahavir, Licchvi Ganrajya and legendary Amrapali. Vaishali is vastly regarded as the motherland for democracy.
Coming back to my little village Manuan... My grandfathers used to be landlords there till the government abolished the system. Anyways.. i spent first 7 years of my life in the village playing on muddy roads and chasing the ice candy man.
He used to come on his bycycle every afternoon during the summer days. His cycle had a makeshift whistling device that converted mechanical enerygy derived from wheels to hit an empty tin can to make that noise when the cycle drove.. trrrrrrtrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..
We boys used to wait for him in our baniyan's after our lunch. Ice candy man used to give icecream lollies in 10 paise. My house, being big, was a center point for him to stop. Most of the times i never used to have that 10 paisa... all coaxing to mummy and papa used to work less as they considered that lolly bad. But it was that chilling thing for us. My sweet dadi used to be the saviour. I remember her giving us money which she used to keep in her locked iron case or tied in her pallu.
Ice candy man.. He was dark and slim and wore towel turban. I remember getting lollies from him on credit. Since my houses varanda was resting ground for him, he used to sit and negotiate with us about the repayment of that 10paisa... However most of the times when i had money i would just not look at him and give him the money to get the lolly fast.. That red candy which he used to keep in wooden box tied on the back of this bicycle..
After resting for sometime and selling some 2 to 4Rs lollies he used to ride his vehicle again and zoom.. we used to run behind him to listen to that sound for long.. trrrr trrrrrrrrrrrrrrr trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... sound used to faint in that silent summer afternoon but still we claimed , yes yes.. i can hear it even now ... But all that was left was a sound of flour mill running somewhere far .. puk puk... puk pukk....
